With over 25 years of experience as a Professional Ballroom Dancer, Julie is certified by the World Professional Dance Teachers Association in both American Smooth and American Rhythm styles. Her career highlights include competing as a Professional Country Western Dancer, earning numerous accolades for performance and choreography, and touring with ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Julie’s entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found Encore Ballroom Couture and The Dress Spa in 2009, establishing a leading presence in the ballroom dance industry. ENCORE specializes in consignment and rental gowns for various dance styles, while The Dress Spa focuses on cleaning and restoring these exquisite garments. Her partnerships with top couture designers, like Randall Designs, have resulted in an exclusive collection of original costumes from Dancing with the Stars, with select pieces showcased at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History. Recently, Julie expanded her creative vision with the launch of Encore House of Crystal, a boutique offering custom crystal merchandise. Her collaborations span nationwide dancesport studios and the Nation Football Cheerleaders’ Alumni Organization.
